Southeast of Los Angeles and east of Long Beach, you find the City of Orange. And, you find the city in one of California’s most prominent counties, Orange County. The County reaches from suburbs south of Whittier, to Seal Beach. It includes Huntington and Newport Beaches. Then, extends all the way to San Clemente and the edge of San Diego County. That said, you find in the City of Orange the county heartland and a heart for gracious living. In fact, combined with a beautiful backdrop of gently sloping hills, many neighborhoods snuggle up to a countryside feel and open spaces. Sounds like plenty to love in the City of Orange already. As a result, there must be more features worth exploring.

City of Orange The County Heartland for Gracious Living

Orange has a booming central hub, with one edge against the Santa Ana River basin. And, a number of main streets radiate out eastward, others intersect, with hundreds of local businesses and storefronts alongside. At the same time, scores of neighborhoods appear. Many of them developed early in the city’s history. They represent a mix of well-established, post WWII and later 20th century, single family home developments. Although, while close to the business/industry hub, they seem to gleam, under the So Cal sun, with suburban appeal. Many other residential areas like the Old Towne District include a healthy mix of single family and multi-family home options. Also, they include lots of conveniences within walking distance.

Not only is the City of Orange the County heartland by virtue of its location, but by its focus on residential life. At the same time, the more you explore, the more lovely neighborhoods you find. As a result, it becomes clear that the city hosts a wide range of options in gracious living. In fact, as you go further east, you find newer, single family home subdivisions. They typically include larger lots, and homes. Some of these sit on orderly street grids, while others line gently meandering streets. In these areas and in the newest developments, you find some of the most attractive, often two-story, executive homes in the County.
