You don’t need to think you are stuck at home or have to find a good baby sitter on New Year’s Eve if you have kids. The Los Angeles area has lots of ways to ring in the New Year, together. The downtown area has a few great prospects like Grand Park NYE. It’s a west coast alternative to Times Square. You can spend the evening there ringing in 2016 with performances and large scale, animated projections on 22 stories of City Hall. There will be plenty of food and music for everyone. Plenty of people will be making their way to this great event. Go early with kids. Then, you can take them home before it gets too crowded.
You can take the kids to Dodger Stadium, and the whole family can enjoy an entertaining show by Cirque du Soleil called Kurios. This show has perfect family-friendly times at 1pm and 4:30pm.
And what about the zoo? The whole family can celebrate together in the New Year’s Eve Party at the LA Zoo! There will be lights, food, drinks, zoo rides, even a DJ dance party. It will include a live broadcast from Times Square at 9pm, champagne for adults and a whole lot more.
Happy New Year to families all around Los Angeles from the LaRoche Team! Have a great and safe time!
